A Founder With a Vision
In 2018, the founder and Executive Director of Youth Action, a peer-led leadership program for Philadelphia youth, reached out with a familiar need: no printed materials, a compelling mission, and an urgent case to make to donors, funders, partners, and future board members. We created a 24-page overview booklet that could do that work for him in every room he walked into.
Professional by Design
Youth Action had a logo we simplified and a blue and orange palette, nothing else. The booklet needed to feel modern and credible, not youthful, but reflective of the leadership identity at the program's core. Student voices carried weight through quotes and photos. Program descriptions, a founder's statement, and impact statistics made the case.
A Publication That Opened Doors
The booklet gave Youth Action a professional presence it hadn't had before. The booklet is the kind of piece that signals an organization is ready to be taken seriously. The founder has since gone on to serve as a City Councilmember for the City of Philadelphia. The organization he built now has the board he set out to form.
